Inti Raymi or "Festival of the Sun" is the most important ceremony of the Inca Empire, celebrated in honor of the Sun God (Inti). It takes place every June 24th on the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere. The main ceremony takes place at the Sacsayhuamán fortress, with representations of dances, music and ancestral rituals.
We recommend arriving at least one day in advance to acclimatize. Drink plenty of water, avoid heavy meals, and drink coca tea. The coca tea we offer upon arrival helps alleviate altitude sickness symptoms. Our itinerary is designed for gradual acclimatization.

The tour operates under any weather conditions. In case of rain, we provide rain ponchos and adapt activities as needed. Machu Picchu is especially mystical in the rain, with clouds surrounding the mountains.
Cancellations more than 60 days in advance: 90% refund. Between 30-60 days: 70% refund. Between 15-30 days: 50% refund. Less than 15 days: no refund. We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations.
